Välkommen.

Bienvenue.

Welcome.

Velkommen.

Welkom.

Huso Lodge & Farm is ideally situated in the mountain village of Hemsedal, home to some of Norway’s best skiing, fly-fishing, hiking and cycling areas. Surrounded by alpine forest and lakes and only a short drive to Hemsedal Skisenter, Huso Lodge offers unparalleled access to nature and outdoor adventure in any season.

Huso Lodge has an assortment of cabins that can sleep between 12 – 30 guests, as well as freshly renovated valley-view lodge apartments for groups up to 8. In total, Huso Lodge & Farm can accommodate up to 160 guests, making it an ideal destination for mountain weddings and company retreats.

Main Lodge

The Main Lodge at Huso is the site of the original Huso Farm established over 200 years ago and offers stunning views of valley below. Today, the Main Lodge consists of 12 historic structures oriented around a central courtyard or farmyard the most special being the Historic Barn. The Main Lodge houses all of Huso’s apartment suites as well as the Farmhouse Banquet Hall, bar, lounge and other meeting/event spaces. A few large cottages are located here as well, including Stable House, Queen’s Cottage and Couple’s Cottage.

Mountain Lake & Pasture

Further up the mountain from the Main Lodge is Huso’s scenic Mountain Lake and Pasture area. Here stand four large cabins, the largest, Viking House can sleep up to 30 people – all with exclusive wood-fired barrel sauna and hot tub, as well as access to the lake for cold plunges. Additionally, the Chieftain’s Hall and Earth Dome are all located here. In Winter, cross-country ski trails are steps from the cabins and in summer, the lake is a wonderful place to swim and canoe. Hiking and mountain biking are available as well.

Chieftain’s Hall

Located near the Mountain Lake and Pasture is Huso’s historic Chieftan’s Hall, a majestic setting with its many wood carvings and beamed ceiling darkened by soot. Here you can feast and celebrate in large groups as the Viking’s once did, with a central fire and roasting area surrounded by large trestle tables.

Earth Dome

Located near the lake and surrounded by a moat is one of Huso’s most unique structures, the Earth Dome.  As it’s name suggests, the Earth Dome is in fact a domed structure with a sod roof.  Inside, the Earth Dome is equipped to handle large group events, including company meetings, presentations, and yes, even late night parties.  With a large dance floor or meeting area on the ground level, a central platform for DJ’s or live music, and a mezzanine level lounge and bar, the Earth Dome experience is unlike anything else!

Hemsedal

Surrounded by alpine forest, lush pasture and snow capped peaks, Huso Lodge & Farm is set within an incredible natural setting. Located in Hemsedal, known as the Scandinavian Alps, guests have access to premier downhill and cross country skiing throughout the Winter and amazing fishing, hiking and cycling throughout the Summer.
