The large Viking House is an exciting building with associations to the Viking Age. Perfect for extra large groups up to thirty persons, the Viking House has a total of thirteen bedrooms (four bedrooms with three beds, eight bedrooms with two beds and one bedroom with a single bed). The single beds can be arranged together to form a larger combined mattress. The Viking House cabin has a modern kitchen including multiple refrigerators, cookers and dishwashers to accommodate larger groups. The dining room is in Viking style with seats for up to thirty. The living room has wood burning fireplace in traditional Norwegian style, with unobstructed views of the adjacent lake and direct access onto an extensive terrace with table and chairs for outdoor gatherings. Three bathrooms, each with with several shower, and three separate WC’s are suitable for large groups. The cabin is also user-friendly for wheelchair on request.
The Viking House is directly linked to the impressive and historically significant Viking Hall, where traditional dinners, roasts and Viking style celebrations can take place.
Located further up the mountain from the main Huso Lodge, the Viking House is surrounded by nature, steps from a lake perfect for swimming and boating as well as trails for hiking, biking and x-country skiing, depending on the season. For extra large groups looking to adventure outside by day and gather inside by night, and interested in enjoying a Viking style celebration in the adjacent Viking Hall, the Viking House is ideal.
