The Lakeview Cottage is a unique log cottage at Huso Lodge in Hemsedal with a magnificent view and outdoor barrel sauna and hot tub to immerse yourself in nature. The large cottage has 3 living rooms: dining room / fire place room, cozy TV room and a small library with a view and wood stove for guests who want to withdraw. From the library you can go straight out on the large terrace overlooking the valley.
The cabin offers warm views from the outdoor wood-fired barrel sauna and the hot tub that extend the cabin deck out into the scenic nature. The pond next to it offers a refreshing dip to strengthen the immune system.
With high-speed fiber internet you can combine work, recreation and wellness.
With a total of six bedrooms, two bathrooms and two WC’s, the cabin accommodates up to 12 guests:
- Four bedrooms have two single beds (the single beds can be combined to form a double)
- Two bedrooms have one double bed
Located further up the mountain from the main Huso Lodge, the Lakeview Cottage is surrounded by nature, steps from a lake perfect for swimming and boating as well as endless trails for hiking, biking and cross country skiing, depending on the season. For medium to large sized groups or families looking to adventure outside by day and gather inside by night, the Lakeview Cottage is ideal.
Lakeview Cottage guests have access to amenities provided at the main Huso Lodge as well as the surrounding lakes, woods and trails.
Extra amenities
At Huso Lodge we offer extra amenities to consider for your stay:
- Bed linens and towels can be ordered in advance and will be placed in the cottage according to your request. We charge NOK 150,- per set for folded linens and NOK 250,- per set for made beds.
- Firewood is complementary for your living room fireplace, outdoor BBQ and/or Wood fired Hot Tub.
- Sauna access and use is included in the cabin rental for no additional charge.
- Outdoor Wood-Fired Hot Tub is included in the cabin rental. Instructions on how to heat the Hot Tub is provided upon arrival.
- Wi-Fi Internet is included in the cabin rental.
- Veggiebox with fresh organic vegetables & salads from our farm can be ordered in summer season for NOK 350,-
Extra amenities must be ordered at least one week prior to arrival.
