Our newest and most central cottage, Stable House, peacefully sits atop Huso Lodge’s central courtyard, with views of Huso’s “Drage”-style Farmhouse and Hallingdal Valley out its floor-to-ceiling windows. Stable House embraces Scandinavian design throughout, combining functionality, simplicity and beauty. The large open kitchen and dining/living area inspire social cooking and late-night sofa conversations around the cosy wood-fired stove. A spacious 25 m2 lounge is adjacent to the dining and living area, perfect for relaxing after an active outdoor day.
The expansive valley views can also be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace. Equipped with a BBQ grill, an exclusive wood-fired hot tub and a “fish-eye” lens barrel sauna, the terrace offers ample opportunity to fully immerse one’s body and senses into the extremes of raw nature.
With 7 bedrooms, one sleeping sofa and 5 bathrooms (each with separate showers, sinks and toilets), the cottage can comfortably host up to 21 guests spread across:
- 4 bedrooms with double bed or two single beds
- 1 bedrooms with large bunk bed (140cm bottom and 90cm top)
- 1 bedroom with large bunk bed (140cm bottom and 90cm top) and single bed on loft
- 1 bedroom with medium bunk bed (120cm bottom and 90 cm top) and single bed on loft
