The full amount is charged when you confirm your booking, by card or Klarna through Kustom Checkout. For arrivals more than 30 days away you can choose bank transfer instead: 25% within 7 working days of booking and the balance 30 days before arrival. Free cancellation or postponement until 30 days before arrival. The refund and postponement terms for shorter notice are set out in our Terms & Conditions.

Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 12:00. The key is in the door — let yourself in; we send everything you need to know before you arrive. Early check-in and late check-out are possible on request for a small fee; see our Terms & Conditions.

A security deposit is charged with your booking and refunded within 14 days after departure once the unit has been checked. The amount is shown in the booking panel; the terms are in our Terms & Conditions.

Final cleaning is taken care of by us. The cleaning fee is shown as its own line in the booking panel before you confirm and is part of the total you pay; see our Terms & Conditions.

Pre-order linens and towels for your convenience. The cost if ordered at least one week before arrival is:

• 275 NOK per set (folded), or
• 350 NOK per set (made beds).

Orders placed within one week of arrival are 450 NOK per set (folded) or 550 NOK per set (made beds).

For apartments, made beds are already included in the price.

On departure, please strip the linens from the beds and leave them, with the used towels, at the entrance.

Access to our high-speed wifi network and TV channels is free of charge.

No meals are included, but every kitchen is equipped for a chef. Order a farm-to-table dinner cooked by our chefs at your table, or a box from the farm to cook yourself — see Culinary. The nearest grocery store is 10 km away.

Midway between Oslo and Bergen — under three hours by car from Oslo, about four from Bergen.

Firewood is included.

Access and use are included in the cottage rental. Instructions on how to operate the sauna and hot tub are provided on arrival.

• Hot tub: heating on your arrival day is complimentary. Additional cleanings and heatings are available for 1 500 NOK per instance; let us know if you would like to schedule this.
• Ice bathing: only possible at the lake by Viking House and King's Cottage. Please notify us at least one week in advance so we can prepare the ice hole.

Registered guests only, no smoking indoors, pets only in our pet-friendly units, and linens off the beds when you leave. The house rules are set out in our Terms & Conditions and posted in each cottage and apartment.

• King's Cottage, Stable House, Lakeview Cottage and the Boutique Apartments: pet-free.
• Viking House and Queen's Cottage: pet-friendly, subject to a supplementary fee.

Please tell us before arrival if you plan to bring a pet. The fee for bringing a pet into a pet-free unit is stated in our Terms & Conditions.

Your booking details stay in our own booking system on husolodge.com and are never shared with external booking platforms. Card details are entered directly into Kustom's checkout and never pass through our systems. How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
