Two yards, nine front doors
Huso is a klyngetun — a cluster farm in the old Norwegian way, where the houses stand close around a yard and every family has its own door. Ours has two yards, 500 metres apart: the tun, the farmyard itself, and the støl, the old summer farm out on the pasture.
Six cottages for 2 to 34 guests and three apartments for 6 stand around them, 800 metres above sea level in Hemsedal. Book one cottage or a whole yard.
Between the houses is where the farm lives: our host meets you in the yard and lights your fire, the wood-fired hot tubs and barrel saunas steam under the open sky, and when you would rather not cook, our chefs do — farm-to-table, from what we grow, catch and preserve here.
Around the yards lie 22 hectares of our own, with the Hydnefossen waterfall and the Skogshorn mountain for neighbours. Cross-country tracks begin at the door in winter, hiking trails in summer, and Hemsedal Ski Centre is 17 km away.
Norwegians call the feeling hyttekos — cabin cosiness: a warm room, good food, good company and nowhere you have to be. In a klyngetun you have it twice: behind your own door, and in the life between the houses.

Check in from 16:00, check out by 12:00. The key is in the door — let yourself in.
We send everything you need to know before you arrive.

Your hot tub and sauna, firewood and wifi; final cleaning is done by us.
Bed linen and towels on request; in the apartments the beds are made for you.
Food
No meals are included. Order a farm-to-table dinner cooked by our chefs, a box from the farm, or cook — every kitchen is equipped for a chef. The nearest grocery is 10 km away.
